Common questions
How does it choose the pubs?
It looks for pubs near the middle of everyone's starting areas using Apple Maps, then puts first the pubs where the longest straight-line distance anyone travels is shortest. It doesn't know about trains, buses or roads, so check the route before you set off.
Is the pub open?
Pub details come from Apple Maps, which can be out of date. Check the pub's opening hours before you go.
Why does it want my location?
Only if you tap "Use my location", to find pubs near you or to set where you're starting from. You can always type an area or station instead. To turn location off: Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Plan my Pint.
Do my friends need the app?
No. You send the shortlist or the plan through Messages, WhatsApp or another app you choose, and they reply there.
Where are my plans kept?
Only on your iPhone (and in your own iPhone backup, if you use one). There's no account, so plans don't move between devices.
How do I delete a plan?
Open the plan and tap "Delete plan" at the bottom. Deleting the app removes everything.
